When I first signed my two book publishing contract with Howard book release dates were pretty loose. The book market is a tough one these days and so it was important to consider the right time. Eventually, (American) spring was settled on - April. The time when the sun comes back out, daffodils are appearing, and peoples’ minds turn to summer holidays and fun beach reads.
